Accessibility statement
ShareThings wants everyone to be able to share, read and talk, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
Conformance status
ShareThings aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It partially conforms: the known exceptions are listed below.
What we do
- Every page is checked with axe for WCAG 2.2 A and AA in light mode, dark mode and right-to-left Arabic before each release.
- Every feature can be used with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Pages reflow at 320 pixels, support 200 % zoom and custom text spacing, and keep touch targets at least 24 × 24 pixels.
- The interface is available in six languages, with right-to-left support for Arabic.
Known limitations
- Videos people upload cannot carry captions yet. Captions are planned.
- Tests with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) are being completed; some details may still be announced imperfectly.
